Introducing Amasil™ Formic Acid, the most potent organic acid for feed acidification. Used successfully in poultry and swine diets around the world, Amasil creates a less favorable environment for bacteria, which reduces feed-borne pathogen populations and decreases microbial intake. A reduction in pH also lowers buffering capacity, which can improve the efficacy of many digestive enzymes and lead to improved feed efficiency and growth.
HOW IT WORKS
Amasil is one of the strongest organic acids with the highest molecular density, allowing it to have a more complete and sustained acidification effect in feed.
Begin feeding AmasilTM to sows during lactation, and continue feeding to nursery pigs immediately upon weaning.
BREEDERS & LAYERS
Acidification of breeder feed has been shown to reduce vertical transmission from the breeders to the eggs (Humphrey and Lanning, 1988). This can lead to improvement in egg production and egg quality criteria (Abbas et al., 2013).
Acidification of grower feed has been shown to reduce vertical transmission from the breeders to the eggs (Humphrey and Lanning, 1988). This, in turn, can lead to reduced mortality and severity due to feedborne pathogens.
